The children’s ministry of Lebanon Baptist Church exists to glorify God by partnering with and equipping parents to lead children to embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior and to pursue God with their whole heart.
The nursery ministry is provided during our service times for children birth through 3 yrs. We trust that parents will find the nursery a safe and welcoming place for their children to be while they attend the main services.
The goal for the children’s Sunday School classes is to assist parents in helping formulate a solid confidence in the Word of God and develop a Christian worldview. This ministry provides an excellent opportunity for many who are looking to serve the Church by serving children.
Children’s Church is set aside for Kindergarten thru 2nd graders and runs simultaneously to our main morning gathering. Children who would like to be a part of Children’s Church will join with their parents for the first part of the main service and be dismissed toward the end of the congregational singing.
The name Awana is derived from 2 Timothy 2:15 (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed). The Awana Clubs are for girls and boys ages 3 through 6th grade. We meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 pm during the school year. Awana Clubs is 1 1/2 hours packed full of games, Bible memorization, and teaching.
