Mark Egerdahl was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. At 12 years old, Mark placed his faith in Christ during a revival meeting, and was baptized. Afterwards, he dedicated his life to Lord as a teen camper at The Wilds Christian Camp. After high school, Mark attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, and graduated in ’09 with a Bachelors of Music in Church Music. During his college years he spent 2 summers working at The Wilds and 2 summers traveling for a BJU music ministry team. He met his wife, Amanda, at school and they were later married in the May of ’09.
Mark and Amanda had the privilege of traveling for 5 years on the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team where Mark served as the team leader, music coordinator, and children’s evangelist. Mark and Amanda traveled with the team each summer to Northland Camp and served on the leadership team. At Northland, Mark worked with the program staff and directed the camp choir and orchestra.
In August of 2014, Mark and Amanda came to Lebanon Baptist Church where Mark serves as the Pastoral Assistant. He currently leads the music ministry of the church as well as serving in a variety of teaching and administrative roles. Mark also currently serves as Director of Operations for Heart Publications, a ministry of the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team.
