He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. (Psalm 91:4)

Be a part of serving the widows of Lebanon Baptist Church and our community by showing God’s gracious help through the widows’ grief and sorrow. Would you prayerfully consider volunteering to serve our widows? Here are a few ways that you can be a special blessing to them.

  • Tea & Talk (Time of relaxation and conversations – luncheon, teas, outings, etc.)
  • Bible Studies (Studies that focus on the challenges widows face)
  • Widows Mite (Widows ministering to others through various outlets)
  • S.O.S (Free short-term assistance from men and women within the church body)
  • Grief Share (A biblically-based grief recover support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing any loved one)

If you would be interested in serving our widows, please contact Kitty Rodgers or Carol Dornon, or you can fill out the volunteer form.

Human tragedy is always unplanned.  Often it hurts so deeply that it crushes the heart, mind, and body.  The total impact often finds us trying to find someone who will listen or someone who has experienced an unannounced crisis. (John Wallace Stephenson, Through Tears to Triumph)
