The Audio-Visual and Technology Ministry seeks to utilize and maintain audio, visual, and information technologies in order to increase people’s opportunity to hear, see, participate, and continue in the Word of God and the life of the church. We serve the church by paying attention to the technical details for the weekly services, special events, and weekly communication needs.

Explore the opportunities below, and if you would be willing to serve in any of these capacities, please fill out the volunteer form.

Audio
Since faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), our goal is to do what we can to assure that the presentation of the Word, both in word and song, is clearly heard. This role requires either either two Sunday mornings or two Sunday evening services a month. While being musical is not essential it may prove to be helpful. You will be required to observe a few services, go through special training on the equipment, procedures, and philosophy before running a service. The goal is to always have you paired up with another sound technician.

Slides
This position requires either one Sunday morning or one Sunday evening per month. A familiarity with music is a plus but is not required. You will be fully trained by current operators until you feel comfortable enough to run a service on your own. There is also the opportunity to learn how to create the unique slide presentations used for each of the services.

Video
Both of our Sunday service are broadcasted via closed circuit (for those within the building) and Livestream (for those away from the main gathering). Our video team will train you in the use of the camera, set up of Livestream, as well as the essentials of collaborating with the Audio team and slides for each service. There is not need for musical abilities, just simply a steady hand and a willingness to be attentive to details with excellence.

For each of these opportunities, you will be asked to commit to early arrival, set up, and preparation for the services you are scheduled to run. Sunday mornings will be at 8:30am and Sunday evenings will be 5:30pm. Other special events and services are TBD.
