In 1996, Lebanon Baptist Church moved to our existing property. It sits on 28 acres of land and nearly 44,000 sq. ft. of building space! While we are grateful that it is all paid for, needless to say, it’s a lot to maintain. There are always opportunities to get involved around the facilities. Explore some of the ideas below, then fill out the volunteer form if you are interested in being a part of serving in any of these ways.

  • Routine dusting
  • Wiping down tables after a Fellowship Dinner
  • Windows cleaned
  • Wiping down and scrubbing the kitchen walls and appliances
  • Cleaning out refrigerators
  • Vacuuming hallways and rooms
  • Setting up tables and chairs for classes and other special events

We have a small team of people that try to maintain the outdoors, but with the amount of land, there is always room for more help!

  • Picnic tables need cleaned, stained, and repaired
  • Signs need cleaned
  • Flower beds need weeded, mulched, and planted
  • The church marquis needs updated frequently
  • Grass needs mowed

Twice a year (fall and spring) the church family gets together on a Saturday to tackle larger projects. Everyone is invited to be a part of this unique time of fellowship. Breakfast and lunch are always served!
