Lebanon Baptist Church is a group of people comprised of young and old with a mixture of many backgrounds. We typically meet together twice on Sunday, once in the morning and once in the evening.
If you are thinking about visiting with us, you can learn more about planning your first visit.
Sunday morning is our main gathering for the week and the attendance is between 300-350 people. You’ll find people wearing everything from business casual to suits to t-shirts and blue jeans. If you want to get connected, come around 9:30 for our classes. There you can begin to interact with others and learn the Bible together.
9:30 – 10:15
- Adults – LifeStage Classes meet at 9:30 each Sunday morning.
- Children – 4yrs – 6th grade, Sunday School classes are offered before the main morning gathering each Sunday.
- Infants, babies, and toddlers – Nursery care is available for each of our meetings.
10:30 – 12:00
Our main gathering consists of singing, reading the Bible, praying, preaching, and giving.
You’ll find our music to be focused on the congregation. As a church family, we love singing together! So, we make an effort to sing songs that the whole congregation can sing. You’ll find it to be a blend of both old and new songs accompanied by a variety of acoustic instruments. We aim for simple, singable songs that point us to God’s Word, are full of truth, and exalt the person and work of Jesus!
We are serious about learning the Bible and are careful to study it together each week so that we rightly understand how it applies to our lives today. We practice what is known as expository preaching where the main point of the Bible passage determines the main point of the message. You can listen to any of our sermons online.
At the conclusion of our time, stay around! We encourage individuals to enjoy conversation and get connected with the church family.
5:00 – 6:00
Though not every week, we often meet together on Sunday Evening (contact the office or click here to see). These times are more of a casual family gathering. During these family times, we will pray together, read Scripture, share testimonies with each other, and learn from God’s Word. It is a wonderful way to end our day in the company of God’s people!
6:30 – 8:00
Our Wednesdays are very informal and vary from prayer meetings to church-wide cookouts; children’s ministry to special classes for the community; outreach events to small group home Bible studies. During the school year (August-May) the church family will often enjoy dinner together. The date, time, menu, and sign up will be posted here.
