Lebanon Baptist Church is a group of people comprised of young and old with a mixture of many backgrounds. We meet together each Sunday mornings and once a month on Sunday evenings.
If you are thinking about visiting with us, you can learn more about planning your first visit.
Sunday morning is our main gathering for the week and the attendance is between 300-350 people. You’ll find people wearing everything from business casual to suits to t-shirts and blue jeans. If you want to get connected, come around 9:30 for our bible study classes. There you can begin to interact with others and learn the Bible together.
9:30 – 10:15
- Adults – LifeStage Classes meet at 9:30 each Sunday morning.
- Children – 4yrs – 6th grade, Sunday School classes are offered before the main morning gathering each Sunday.
- Infants, babies, and toddlers – Nursery care is available for each of our meetings.
10:30 – 12:00
Our main gathering consists of singing, reading the Bible, praying, preaching, giving, celebrating baptisms, and observing the Lord’s Supper.
You’ll find our music to be focused on the congregation. As a church family, we love singing together! So, we make an effort to sing songs that the whole congregation can sing. You’ll find it to be a blend of both old and new songs accompanied by a variety of acoustic instruments. We aim for simple, singable songs that point us to God’s Word, are full of truth, and exalt the person and work of Jesus!
We are serious about learning the Bible and are careful to study it together each week so that we rightly understand how it applies to our lives today. We practice what is known as expository preaching where the main point of the Bible passage determines the main point of the message. You can listen to any of our sermons online.
At the conclusion of our time, stay around! We encourage individuals to enjoy conversation and get connected with the church family.
5:00 – 6:00
Though only once a month, when we do meet together on Sunday Evenings, these times are more of a casual family gathering. During these family times, we will pray together, read Scripture, share testimonies with each other, learn from God’s Word, and sometimes enjoy a meal together. It’s always a joy to fellowship together in these ways! (Click here to see if we are meeting this Sunday evening.)
6:30 – 8:00
Our Wednesdays are very informal and vary from prayer meetings to church-wide cookouts; children’s ministry to special classes for the community; outreach events to small group home Bible studies. This is a great way to reconnect with and encourage one another in the middle of the week.
