We have been created to properly joyfully reflect the honor and worth of God (Revelation 4:11). The overarching goal of Lebanon Baptist Church is to see that human beings give to God His rightful place and to ascribe to Him His proper worth.

Delighting in and declaring the glory of God in Christ

This pursuit of God and His glory should overflow in joyful and vibrant praise when we gather together as a church. Our gatherings will focus on reflecting on the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ by considering the goodness of God, JesusIsSupremethe sinfulness of man, the mercy in Christ, and His amazing gift of grace. Our entire service will be a time of worship: the singing, to be sure, but also the readings, praying, giving, fellowship, and preaching.

As a congregation, we will encourage and equip each other to live as individuals that pursue a greater love toward God – heart, soul, mind, and body (Mark 12:30), and that delight in displaying and declaring the supremacy of Jesus Christ – whether we eat, or drink, or whatsoever we do (1 Corinthians 10:31).

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:16-18)
