Special Needs:

Sky miles / frequent flyer miles: our
ministry trips are very expensive and funds for these
are above our personal support.

Additional support - we are currently at
71% - down because of additional health insurance costs.

Praise God that even with the cost of
travel skyrocketing and our medical costs still
staggering, every need is met!
Prayer Requests:
-
Please pray for our general health,
safety, and stamina during our travels. Carol continues
the physical therapy for her shoulder, and she is slowly
gaining strength and range of motion.
-
Also,we ask you to pray for real
sensitivity and discernment as we spend time with our
missionaries. We are so grateful for the relationships
we are building with our missionaries. Even with those
we
haven’t yet met, the “Prayer Prompters” have probably
been a good introduction to Dick’s pastor’s heart (Carol
speaking).

For our missionaries in Europe who deal
not only with hostility or apathy to the Gospel, but
also are facing tremendous financial strain: with the
last 2 years they have lost 1/3 of their support due to
the decline of the dollar.

To expand our own work view of missions
and to encourage other spiritual leaders in this.

To have unusual sensitivity to the needs
of our missionaries.

To connect effectively with our
missionaries through our visits and correspondence.
-
Our safety in travels - this is a
hostile world.
-
Our health - both of us have health
issues, pray for good health during the visits.

Unusual wisdom and discernment.

Open relationships
-
Building of trust
-
Finding consistent personal time with
God to nourish us.
